Terms & Policies

All prints, products and session fees are subject to your states sales tax and shipping when applicable. There is a $400 print minimum required for all sessions except mini sessions.  Due to the nature of custom photography, all sales are final. Crystal does, of course, guarantee that the portraits you receive meet the highest standards in every respect and will show you examples of each of her products, in the studio, so you can see and feel the quality. Payment of orders is due in full when the order is placed. Prints and products arrive 2-3 weeks after payment is received.

Retainer Policy

Your creative fee/retainer is due at time of booking in full and is used to secure your date chosen or estimated due date if expecting. It is non-refundable for all sessions should you cancel, but is transferable to another date in the event you wish to amend your booking {within 48 hours notice}. Special consideration is made for maternity and newborn sessions due to medical concerns. You must notify us of any medical concerns within the first week of newborn’s birth date or before you leave the hospital. If you are unable to keep your reserved EDD, we will credit you for a future session once the baby is well. Communication is key. Please understand we only take a limited amount of newborns and High School Seniors a month so if you have a medical emergency, we do need to know as soon as possible so we can allow another client in for that month. Thank you for understanding.

The creative session fee does not include any images, prints or digital negatives. Prints and products are purchased separately during your in-studio consultation.  The creative fee covers all the time put into your session. From the very first phone call, shooting, planning, studio time and props to the final edit that is presented to you at your custom ordering session. This is valuable time. Please also don’t forget that all session fees and orders are required by law to have taxes taken out which equal about 33%. As photographers, we have to put this away ourselves and do not have the luxury of having it done for us. All professional photographers by law are required to pay taxes.

All orders need to be placed in a timely manner. We put this time aside for you within two weeks after your session. This allows me to load your gallery, work on and place your orders. If you wait past this time, understand we are now working with new clients and there may be a wait or additional charges to re-upload your gallery. This takes time away from family and those clients if we have to keep reloading your gallery. There is a $50 fee to reload your gallery.

All rates are subject to change at any time. Rescheduled sessions are subject to the prices current at the time of scheduling. Please see session info for more detailed information.

In the event of a bounced check, the client will pay the amount of check plus any bank fees charged to Dolci Momenti Photography for services provided. The client will be responsible for immediately providing payment in cash, credit or money order within 5 days. If payment is not received, the client will possibly be sent to a collection agency for collection of payment.
